Family Anaeramoebidae Táborský et al. 2017

 

Diagnosis: Marine anaerobic amoebae or amoeboflagellates with acristate mitochondrion-related organelles and a large a centriolar centrosome with a trilaminar core. Actively moving amoebae uninucleate, fan-shaped, with a flattened antero-lateral hyaline zone and globular granuloplasm. Posterior hyaline projections present at least in some cells. Multinucleate plasmodia present in some species. Flagellate stage may be present in some species, with two or four isokont, thickened flagella inserting sub-apically.
