Diagnosis: Test retort-shaped, in cross-section circular, almost colorless, yellowish, with a net-like structure and a curved neck. The constriction between neck and main body is thin. Pseudostome irregularly lobed with thickened edge.

Dimensions: Jung (1942): length 93 μm, width 39 μm, aperture 20 μm, neck 23 μm  (n=1). My measurements: length 113-126 μm, width 44-48 μm, aperture 14-20 μm, neck 33-36 μm  (n=3)
