Arcella jeanneli  Virieux, 1913

Diagnosis: Test sub-hemispherical or urceolate, with somewhat thickened wall toward the edges on the ventral side. Very regular hexagonal pattern. Pseudostome slightly invaginated, circular with smooth border.

Dimensions: Diameter 70-95 µm; height 84 µm; aperture 35-46 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. On submerged plants. Lake Victoria, Africa.
