Diagnosis: Neck somehow swollen at the base, tapering from its junction with the body towards the aperture, colorless or light yellow.
Measurements: L= 130-170 μm, B=55-103 μm. In the material of De Groot the test was 102 µm long and 67 µm broad.
Ecology: Sphagnum mosses. Southern hemisphere: South-America (Colombia, Cape Horn, Tierra del fuego), Australia, Islands of the Pacific Ocean.
