Chlamydophrys minor Belar, 1921

Diagnosis: Shell rigid, ovoid, with a small aperture. Protoplasm filling the shell, with a very distinct spherical nucleus placed posteriorly, and a transversal layer of brilliant granules. Pseudopodia straight, numerous, radiating.

Dimensions: Test length 16-20 µm.

Ecology: Fresh water, aquatic vegetation.
