Cryptodifflugia crenulata globosa   Playfair, 1917

Diagnosis: Shell differs from the typical form by the globose or subglobose shell shape; aperture occupies the entire lower surface.

Dimensions: Shell length 17–20 μm, shell width 15–18 μm.

Ecology and distribution: In thickets of Typha in waterbodies. Australia, Poland, Germany, Greenland, Romania, Vietnam, South Georgia, Crozet and Possession Island.
