Cyclopyxis amplecta Schönborn, 1966

Diagnosis: The shell is more or less circular in dorsal view, in lateral view lower than hemispherical. test covered with a small amount of xenosomes. Aperture round, located at the bottom of the funnel.

Dimensions: Diameter of test: 65-68 µm; height: 32-40 µm; diameter of the aperture: 21-22 µm; concavity of the pseudostomal funnel is 8-10 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater
