Cyclopyxis dulcis Coûteaux et Munsch, 1978

Diagnosis: Test with hemispherical, clear dorsal contour, embedded with often round and curved, very refringent and juxtaposed plates, linked together by a thick cement. Ventral side concave. Pseudostoma located at the bottom of the concavity, bordered with scales of variable shape that create a kind of more or less toothed border.

Dimensions: Test diameter: 108-117.0 μm (av. 111.6 μm, n=7); height: 59.4-66.6 μm (av. 63 μm).

Ecology: Marine. Rhizosphere of epiphytes in the mangrove Pterocarpus officinalis from the Belle Plaine Canal, Guadeloupe.
