Cyclopyxis eurystoma stenostoma
C. eurystoma var. stenostoma, after Decloitre, 1949.

Cyclopyxis eurystoma var. stenostoma  Decloitre, 1949

Diagnosis:  This variety differs from the type by a small and highly invaginated pseudostome. In apical view, the pseudostome is difficult to detect. In lateral view, the half-sphere is a little elevated. The test, light brown, is rich in mineral grains, but remains transparent. The invagination of the pseudostome is very strong, reaching almost half the height of the shell.

Dimensions: Test diameter 64 µm, height 50 µm, pseudostome 10-12 µm, buccal depth 20 μm, width of the beginning of the invagination 20-22 μm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Former French West Africa.

Remarks: Possibly identical with C. kahli.
