Diagnosis: The shell is relatively large, hemispherical in profile, hyaline with rarely located but rather large xenosomes. The mouth is four-bladed and surrounded by small, tightly packed grains of sand, weakly concave.
Dimensions: Diameter of the shell: 123-125 µm, height: 80 µm, apertural diameter: 28-30 µm.
Ecology: Freshwater, Lake Dagow, Germany.
