Cyclopyxis leidyi (Coûteaux et Chardez, 1981)

Diagnosis: Test hemispherical, ventral surface slightly recessed. Pseudostome funnel shaped, bordered with three broadly rounded lobes, which are are bending downwards and which are bordered by a smooth chitinoid rim.

Dimensions: Shell 87-102 µm, height 45-50 µm; aperture 20-22 µm wide. My measurements: 111-125 µm (n=8).

Ecology: Tropical soil, mosses. French Guiana, Indonesia. All tests on this page were present in a sample from Indonesia (source: Valentyna Krashevska).
