Cyclopyxis penardi (Penard, 1911) Deflandre, 1929

Diagnosis: The shell is very large, in lateral view lower than hemispherical, in dorsal view rounded. The dorsal side is arched. The ventral surface is concave, in its center with a rounded pseudostome, the diameter of which is almost half the diameter of the test. The shell is covered with small flat xenosomes.

Dimensions: Diameter of the shell: 330-380 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater
