Difflugia angulostoma  Gauthier-Lièvre et Thomas, 1958

Diagnosis: Test transparent, spherical, with rough surface, mainly embedded with diatom valves; xenosomes packed very tightly, often overlapping. Pseudostome large, more than 1/3 of the width, rounded, but its contour may be uneven due to protruding flaps.

Dimensions: Length 40-80 µm, width 40-73 µm, pseudostome 18-51 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater, Africa.
