Difflugia bipartis  Godeanu, 1972

Diagnosis: Test elongated cylindrical, composed of two clear different compartments: the posterior part is ogival, resembling a canon bullet which is slightly acuminated. The other part is more straight and forms a kind of cone. Pseudostome circular, with the edge slightly curved inwards. The test gives the impression of a Pontigulasia species, but without diaphragm. Test organic, colorless, covered with small angular mineral granules of different size.

Dimensions: Length 40-45 µm; width 21-24 µm; pseudostome 11 µm in diameter.

Ecology: Freshwater, river, Romania.
