Difflugia decloitrei  Godeanu, 1972

Diagnosis: Test ovoid, with obliquely truncated aperture, thumb-shaped, tapering from the middle to the pseudostome and fundus. Test transparent, with smooth surface, covered with flat mineral grains; close to aperture these grains are much smaller. Between the larger mineral pieces there are much smaller ones. Fundus rounded or slightly ogival. Pseudostome round and wide, about half the width of the test.

Dimensions: Length 62-86 µm, width 40-56 µm, diameter of the pseudostome 20-23 µm. W/L ratio 0.62-0.66.

Ecology: Fresh water; Iran (Decloitre, 1965), Roumania (Goudeanu, 1972).
