Difflugia difficilis ecornis Chardez, 1956

Diagnosis: Test ovoid, in cross-section round, with regularly rounded sides; collar short and well developed. Pseudostome circular. Fundus rounded, sometimes slightly pointed, but never with some kind of spine or outgrowth. Test transparent, covered with irregular and flat mineral grains.

Dimensions: Length 85-100 µm, width 55-60 µm, collar 25-30 µm wide and 5-8 µm high.

Ecology: Freshwater sediments, Belgium. Africa (Gauthier-Lièvre et thomas, 1958)
