Difflugia finstertaliensis  Laminger, 1971

Diagnosis: Test ovate, some broad, but most oblong, truncate near the pseudostome. Pseudostome circular, more rarely broad-oval. Fundus outline, often also the sides, irregularly humped shaped by short, round projections or their indicated protrusions, which may be replaced by stones. Cover of large quartz particles, which may be mixed with smaller ones.

Dimensions: Length 326-368 µm; width 235-284 µm; pseudostome 147-189 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Sediment of both Finstertal lakes, Tirol, Austria.
