Difflugia gassowskii (Gassowsky, 1936) Ogden, 1983

Diagnosis: Test pyriform with a distinct (1/3 of the length) neck and spherical fundus. The surface is rough, covered with small and large angular mineral grains. The pseudostome is round.

Dimensions: Length 72–120 µm, width 35–78 µm, diameter pseudostome 15–34 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater.
