Diagnosis: Test relatively large, light, gray, transparent, laterally compressed, oval in diameter, the pseudostome is also slightly oval. At the base of the shell on the sides there are symmetrically located two closed with corks of the process or horn. They are either clearly formed and bent downward, or not fully formed, in which case the shell takes the form of a trapezium. Fundus is slightly pointed. The pseudostome is large, its edge is uneven due to different-sized sand grains located along the border of the hole. Test covered with mineral grains, cusps of diatoms, cysts, plates of other types of root-knives. The xenosomes are tightly packed, the surface of the test is uneven.
Dimensions: Length 89-104 µm, width 59-86 µm, diameter pseudostome 26-48 µm.
