Difflugia kempnyi (Stepanek, 1953) Gauthier-Lièvre et Thomas, 1958
Basionym: Difflugia oblonga Kempnyi Stepanek, 1953

Diagnosis: Shell large, elongated ovary, ending with a distinct spike. The small collar is distinctly separated from the fundus. Built from mineral grains. The pseudostome is round.

Dimensions: Length 140-230 µm, width 70-140 µm, diameter pseudostome 35-60 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Europe, Africa.
