Difflugia lemani  Blanc 1892

Diagnosis: Test elongated, resembling the end of a finger or acorn, covered with mineral particles and detritus. Pseudostome almost circular. Nucleus granulated with large number of small nucleoli.

Dimensions: Length 180-310 µm, width 130-150 µm, aperture 110 µm in diameter, nucleus 31 µm.

Ecology: In sediment of deep lakes, > 40 m. Swiss lakes.
