Difflugia limnetica (Levander, 1900) Penard, 1902
Diagnosis: Test ovoid, yellow or brown, covered with mineral grains, which are rarely located on the surface of the test. The pseudostome of a three-blade irregular shape, surrounded by a small collar. Sometimes the edge is simply wavy, sometimes there are 4-5 blades. Cytoplasm without zoochlorella.
Dimensions: Length 70-100 µm, width 50-85 µm, diameter pseudostome 25-51 µm.
Ecology: Freshwater. Sphagnum
