Difflugia lingula Penard, 1911
Diagnosis: Shell large, pyriform, laterally compressed, with short neck. At the end there is a small blunt spike. The pseudostome is rounded, surrounded by fine mineral grains.
Dimensions: Length 230-260 µm, width 155-193 µm, thickness 100-143 µm, pseudostome 30-42 µm.
Remarks: D. lingula var. regularis Gauthier-Lièvre et Thomas, 1958 differs from the typical form in smaller sizes and the lack of a spike. However, the edge of the fundus is not rounded, but uneven, sometimes with a slight tubercle.
