Difflugia oranensis (Gauthier-Lièvre et Thomas, 1958) Ogden, 1984

Diagnosis: Test thin, elongated, compressed laterally, slightly expanding from the pseudostome to 2/3 of the length, and then quickly turning into a small aboral outgrowth. Built from flattened mineral grains. The pseudostome is elliptical.

Dimensions: Length 79-93 µm, width 20-35 µm, thickness is 20-25 µm, the width of the pseudostome is 22-24 µm, the thickness of the pseudostome is 15-18 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Sphagnum
