Difflugia polliciformis  Van Oye, 1958

Diagnosis: Test more or less thumb-shaped, without clear neck, chitinoid, mainly covered with very large irregular mineral grains. Apertural region embedded with smaller mineral grains.

Dimensions: Length 80 µm; width 62 µm; aperture 30 µm (n=1).

Ecology: Freshwater, Potamogeton. Andes, 3600 m., Venezuela.
