Difflugia spec., height 315 µm, broad 399 µm, Crailoo, the Netherlands
The two tests above came from the same sample. They are remarkable because of the very broad test. It resembles D. paranodosa, which is however more heart-shaped with a concave fundus.
Difflugia spec., broad 378 µm, ditch in Horstermeer, the Netherlands
This drawing was made by Van Essen (1968) after a test which he had found in the Netherlands. He labeled it "D. oblonga var. nodosa". Compared with the specimens which I have found it's rather small, 140 µm broad and 90 µm high and it strongly resembles D. paranodosa.
