Diagnosis: Test wide-rounded, lateral sides sharply tapering towards the pseudostome; neck not sharply separated from the fundus. Test covered with large grains of sand. Pseudostome round.

Dimensions: Length 145-150 µm, width 130-138 µm, pseudostome 45-48 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater.
