Difflugia submarina  (Chardez, 1971) Chardez et Thomas, 1980
Basionym: Difflugia subterranean f. circularis Chardez, 1971

Diagnosis: Test finger or club-shaped, in cross-section circular. This species resembles D. lanceolate and D. linearis, but is much smaller.

Dimensions: Length 50-60 µm.

Ecology: Marine. Sandy beaches, Atlantic coast, France.
