Difflugia tenuis  (Penard, 1890) Chardez, 1983

Diagnosis: Test cylindrical or slightly pyriform, fundus often more angular then rounded, very transparent due to a covering of very flat xenosomes.

Dimensions: Length 40-60 µm, width 20-35 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater, Europe.
