Collaripyxidia stankovici – after Zivkovic, 1975

Genus Collaripyxidia Zivkovic, 1975

Diagnosis: shell tubular with an spined fundus, usually hyaline, covered with mineral grains, whilst the area around the aperture has a broad collar of smaller grains; in lateral view, the aperture is cut off obliquely, at an angle of 45°.

Ecology: Not recorded for the Netherlands.

Remarks: Two species:

  • Collaripyxidia stankovici Zivkovic, 1975
  • Collaripyxidia dongtingiensis Balik et Song, 2000
