Gibbocarina gracilis (Penard, 1910)

Diagnosis: Shell elongated pyriform, with a rounded smooth fundus; two lateral pores; pseudostome slightly curved, with a chitinoid lip; in frontal view an irregular border is visible, parallel to the sides; this border is the base of a ridge or keel.

Dimensions: Deflandre (1936): 90-130 µm long, 50-60 µm broad. My measurements: 118 µm.

Ecologie: in Sphagnum-vegetation.
