Hoogenraadia humicola Bonnet, 1974

Diagnosis: Test ovoid, both in lateral en ventral view, with widest in the middle part of the test. The pseudostome is surmounted by a visor that follows and extends the contour of the dorsal part. The invagination between body and visor is not very deep. The aperture is more or less circular. The test is brownish yellow, embedded with siliceous xenosomes.

Dimensions: Length 143-146 µm; width 96-100 µm.

Ecology: Organic debris rich soils in forests along backwaters. Ivory Coast, Africa.
