Hyalosphenia elegans Leidy, 1874

Diagnosis: Shell flak-shaped, with undulations, compressed, completely organic, transparent, colourless to yellowish or brownish; two minute pores, one at each side, in the base of the neck; aperture usually with a thickened lip.

Dimensions:

Ecology: among Sphagnum and moss.
