Diagnosis: Main part of the test spherical, not compressed, with a large but short cylindrical neck. Test embedded with elongated xenosomes.

Dimensions: L 145 µm; diameter 118 µm; neck 30-35 µm; pseudostome 50 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Rivers and marshes. Africa, Gabon (Thomas et Gauthier-Lièvre, 1959).
