Lesquereusia ovalis Thomas et Gauthier-Lièvre, 1959
Diagnosis: Test transparent, in lateral view widely oval; the neck is in its entire length adherent to the main body. Test covered with siliceous elements, which are straight or barely curved, flat, and rounded at the ends. Towards the pseudostome, these elements are lined up side by side and headed in the direction of the length, sometimes a little tilted.
Dimensions: Length 95-110 µm; width 70-83 µm; pseudostome 18-21 µm.
Ecology: Freshwater. Africa.
