Diagnosis: Locomotive form elongated, with the length/breadth ratio usually 1.8-2.0; mammilliform or conical subpseudopodia, often overtaken by the advancing hyaloplasm, dactylopodia often absent; nucleus spherical, with a central nucleolus; no cytoplasmic crystals observed.
Dimensions: Page: 30-88 µm (mean 46-63 µm); nucleus 5.6-9.3 µm.
Ecology: Marine.
