Diagnosis: Cells relatively slow moving and flattened, with a distinct hyaline cap; edges wrinkled. Cell without crystals. No longitudinal surface folds observed, no distinct uroid. Nucleus relatively large, ovoid, with a central granular nucleolus. Stationary specimens irregularly rounded or oblong.
Dimensions: up to 150 µm, nucleus c. 15 µm.
Ecology: Dry moss on tree. Gooilust, the Netherlands.
Amoeba with hyaline caps, nucleus with granulated nucleolus and ingested fungal spores.
