Diagnosis: Surface in locomotion with some longitudinal dorsal folds; outline in locomotion broadly oblong; hyaloplasm usually in a broad anterior region; nucleus elongated oblong, with a single elongated oblong nucleolus of homogeneous texture; single contractile vacuole.

Dimensions: Length ca. 30 µm, width ca. 25 µm; nucleus c. 6 µm long, 3 µm wide (n = 1).

Ecology: Soil, mosses, the Netherlands.
